Getting started at our gym is easy:
1.) Fill out the Contact form to the right, get your complimentary intro appointment scheduled and SHOW UP. Nothing will happen if you don’t walk in the door.
2.) Choose a membership package that works for you and get started right now. We’ll go over all of your options in detail at your intro appointment.
3.) Show up consistently 2-3x week and change your life.
The long story:
The first step to getting started is to schedule your free one hour private intro. The only way to make an informed decision about whether our program, our gym and our people are right for you is to come down, meet us and try us out. During this time we’ll give you a tour of the facility, get to know you (you’re background, what you’ve been doing with yourself athletically/lifestyle, what you’re wanting out of the program and any special needs and/or limitations you have), discuss CrossFit as a method and how we run the gym, do a brief workout (nothing crazy!) and go over the Beginner Class (where new folks start), enrollment, pricing and schedule.
The next step is to choose an membership package and join the gym. The first 3-4 weeks of your training will be spent in our Beginners Class learning the basics of the movements and the protocols that we use here at CrossFit Littleton (Barbell Back Squat, Front Squat, Hang Power variations of the Snatch and the Clean, Kettle Bell work, the Overhead Complex, Basic Bodyweight movements, etc.).
As you transition from the Beginner Class to the Open Class your body will continue to adjust as you develop yourself athletically. Once you’ve been training consistently for 6-8 weeks you will know if CrossFit is for you and your body will be reasonably acclimated and ready to continue with serious, focused training.
It can be intimidating when you watch videos of CrossFit or see the World Games on TV. Please understand that the program is infinitely scalable and we accommodate you the client not the other way around. We train 15 year olds, 60 year olds, all different body types, athletic abilities and professions – people from all walks of life.
CrossFit may not be for you, it’s not for everyone. But the determining factor is almost never your physical ability or condition.
